When something upsets you, it is perfectly normal for you to feel angry about it. There is a way, however, for you to resolve the conflict without you or your partner flying off the handle. You can move past the issue in a calm and healthy way.
Men: Let your partner tell you how she feels and ask questions to help you understand those feelings. Let her know that you hear her and agree to end the conversation there. After a fight, she might be worried that you don't love her anymore. Be sure to show her affection and kindness and you can move forward with the knowledge that you overcame a conflict together.
Women: Don't push your man to talk about his feelings. Women feel better when they talk things out but the same usually can't be said for men. Also, don't submit to the man and put all of the blame on yourself. This wont help him learn to manage his anger and it will destroy the equality of the relationship.
Together: Stay cool and listen to each other. Agree to take a step back and not let things blow up. Understand that you probably have different methods for dealing with your emotions. You can resolve the conflict together without letting anger get the best of you and you can move forward, stronger than ever!

Omg, I teared up when he said that women live in a world of fear. It seems like a no brainer, small point to make, but it gets overlooked time and time again. Some men are good at providing the feeling of safety to women, but I have personally not met a man who did that for me. It’s such a small thing for men to do for us that makes an enormous difference in our lives.
I get it but Sometimes enough is enough… and that anger is only way to get through… especially when you’ve taken the high road and held your tongue multiple times… sometimes you HAVE to put your foot down. Period.
agreed
Ummmmm…… but there’s also a bit too much of that.
there should be a national registry of guys ‘in the know’, i.e. that don’t stomp off in anger and never come back. Key.
awesome!
Thank you
Never sleep with a guy till you bond emotionally. Because if you do and he disappears you can’t blame him
Never get emotionaly bonded with a guy unless it is other than a one last night stay.
I keep getting stuff about love all over the place it’s coming on YouTube and songs on the radio books keep falling off shelves about love birds cuddling outside squirrels snuggling lol
I agree it should be friendship first long term friendships and bonds are the only way makes sense it’s about love not sex until the time is right
Love and a bond is the most important foundation love bond and and growing to enjoy spending time together

I sent this to my significant other because we had a discussion tonight that requires both of us to listen to this.
P. S. We have been dating a year and I am 69 and he is 70. We were not attracted to each other when we first met. Now our relationship is a long distance one and over the last two months our relationship has ramped up. We are both happy to have reached this point in the relationship.
