Please don’t speak for the whole gender. Especially when you hit a certain age you realize the pool of available men is mainly younger. There are a lot of advantages to dating younger men that I did not see in my younger years.

Everything you said is SPOT ON. I am 55 and my partner is more than 20 years younger. We met 11 years ago. As the years go by we are only closer. We are best friends, wonderful lovers, and we know we are true life partners. I am able to emotionally support him properly as a man because I know myself and I know what he will need at each life milestone. I’ve made my mistakes, I know what I wish I did different, I know not to get in between him and his parents, I know when it’s my job to step aside and let him be the man. I could go on and on. Our biggest hurdle was everyone ELSE having a problem with it. But we know they are just jealous! 😂 I like that you mentioned that the woman gets to be playful. We laugh all the time at our house. I can be all business when necessary, but I am a really funny childlike person in the privacy of my own home. That is probably his favorite thing about me. And after being a single mom for a long time, I love that he makes me feel safe to put my armor down and just be fun and cute and let him be in charge for a while. We have a great balance.
