I saw that you’ll be a (boy) mom in May, and I just wanted to take this chance to extend my congratulations. Your future son will do very well with a woman like you as his mom. I also hope that you had a good holiday.

  • @westfield90 says:

Wow right out of the gate number one hit me hard. I speak way too fast, often without thinking and think people don’t take me seriously. Thank you.

    • @twitchkowitz says:

You too? Still, people who get twitchy after 5 seconds if they think you haven’t fully addressed their opener/question don’t help. Nor do those who are quick to say “Shut up.”

  • @tommygunn6901 says:

Also, cheers to you Courtney for being a mom soon!

  • @suryasingh9738 says:

Congrats on being a mother Courtney!

  • @mikeklein1779 says:

    Congratulations to you and Teddy!

  • @beardy7124 says:

As someone that has lost 60 pounds, this made me think. Time to get some clothes that fit better.

You know a person‘s true character how they treat like a waiter or waitress

    • @davidabarak says:

It worked for me. A woman I dated for awhile commented specifically on how well I treated servers, bussers, etc. She’s a god friend now, and when we meet for dinner at a new place I sometimes introduce both of us to the staff that come to our table. Foster happiness whenever you can – not only do the recipients feel good, but you will too.

Addition: Thursday I went to my credit union and ended up in a fun conversation with the teller. It was obvious she enjoyed the interaction, which I would imagine isn’t common for her – most customers just come and go. And the same thing happened yesterday when I bought lunch. The woman at the register is someone I’d talked with briefly before, but this time the conversation was a little extended. Both women were young enough to be my daughters, so I had no motive other than creating a pleasant conversation for them and for myself.

About #8, I’ve found that during a date, listening is most important, asking questions about what my date is talking about is next, and least important is talking about myself. If that type of communication isn’t reciprocated, for me it makes the chance of me wanting a second date a little less. However, it could just be nervousness, so I kind of have to read facial expressions and all that. If the woman talks about her and makes eye contact now and then, it’s more likely she’s interested in the conversation, but if there’s little or no eye contact, I’d probably take that as a sign of boredom.

Its a breath of fresh air to hear someone speak calmly, unlike everyone else on social media trying so hard to be goofy funny or loud

  • @y66nick says:

Hey Courtney congratulations on your pregnancy !!

  • @dankicks says:

The posture one is really important. Especially for taller/overweight guys lije myself. When you’re over 6ft, behave like it. Not just to ‘look taller/better’ but its incredibly important for your overall health and wellbeing.
