From Divorce Recovery to Exercise – Stop the Self Defeating Attitude

When you're going through a divorce, your chest, body , your mind and heart, have this gnawing pain and you want to give up. You think this will ever end and you isolate yourself wanting to sleep life away. You settled for mediocraty but comprimised yourself into someone that ten years ago you'd never have accepted. Now you have to make the daunting choice that despite all that emotional exhaustion, you have to dig deep inside and find that small reserve of energy to begin your recovery.

When you’re knee deep in shit you carry a lot of weight and the very idea of exercising seems like an impossibility. You're under the mistaken impression you're defeated.

That’s when you need it the most because exercise isn’t just about physical strength—it’s about reclaiming your power, it's strategic, it's getting ahead of your god daman problems and saying, “I’m still here motherfucker.” Because every step you take, every weight you lift is a metaphor for you lifting yourself up.

You’re stronger than this, so rise above it because it's temporary. Keep moving. Keep fighting because now, now you're fighting a different battle and the strategy's changed. It's no longer about staying together but about living life on your terms.

You're gonna need help, you just don't know it. Reach out, I'll get you there because this is life and you can't allow yourself to just go through the motions here, you gotta live.
