Love Bombing or Genuine Interest?

Have you ever wondered whether someone was love bombing you—or whether they were just really, really into you? In the beginning, narcissistic relationships can feel exciting, intense, romantic, and almost too good to be true. In this video, we’ll explore why love bombing can be so hard to recognize at first, and how something that looks like a fairy tale can sometimes be the start of something much more complicated.

It’s a fine line, especially from the start. Just look for subtle signs of control and gaslighting. It’s best to take things slow for a reason.

This has worried me too. My ex-wife really laid on the charm in the early days, the love bombing (and sex-bombing) was intense. She told me “I love you so so much William. You are everything I ever wanted!” and I bought it. After the trauma I went through with her, I have always thought “How can I trust anyone ever again? How can I know if a woman is being truthful about her feelings? Is this simply love-bombing again by yet another narcissist?”

True sex bombing is another tactic to keep us in fantasy as if they are great at those things and now we fall into this stupid fantasy they created and are unable to come out of it…. Ruminating all day and night about them without proper focus on anything we do in life… It’s not Joke I mean it…. I couldn’t talk more openly about sex bombing being a woman…. But it’s true and i vouch for that… It is also not just women doing to men…. Men do to women as well
… After leaving a narcissistic relationship we ruminate first thing in the morning sexually though we practically know they are bad for us… Before as a person as in before this narcissistic relationship happened our morning and nights start peacefully but after them total Rumination takes place….

You will be treated like gold for months.
Everything is hot and heavy – you found the perfect partner who is attentive, affectionate and passionate. The first red flag is they keep sharing their own stories (non stop blabbing from their aide) and don’t seem to be too interested in what’s going on in your life. The convos always switch back to what’s going on with them.
Suddenly there is a switch and they are indifferent. For NO reason. There was no argument, no fight – in fact, the night before might have been one of your best nights together. After that switch, they will never ever come back to normal. You will be faced with constant silent treatment. You will be walking on eggshells. The minute you corner them and ask them what the hell is going on
    – you will be stonewalled. They gain power this way. You will be CONFUSED af. You will do everything you can to have the “old” them back, because you don’t like this new version. What you need to realize is the “old” version never existed. It was a complete lie and act – learned from friends, movies etc. It was a character made just for you – it’s no surprise you had a lot in common and now suddenly you don’t. The person you fell in love with completely disappeared, they are ghost. It is absolutely heartbreaking and devastating. All you see is the same body without the same soul. The more frustrated they see you – the more the run and push you away because they don’t want you to see that it was all a mask. Affection is out the window at this point. They can barely kiss or hold hands, but when earlier you were on their lap 247. The real them came out and the mask is off – they hate any from of emotion or love because they are not capable of it. You will be faced with constant gaslighting and they will try to distort your reality so you don’t see them for who they really are. You need to run like the wind – this relationship only makes you destroyed.
Their friends don’t know.. for the covert ones – only their romantic relationship partners can figure it out. Because they are so careful with their image, it’s all about perception management. And one day… after all the cognitive dissonance and sleepless nights and feeling sick to your stomach.. you open YouTube and it’s a door to all your answers. You are well with a narcissistic psychopath that has no feelings.

6 year removed from my abuser, but i still remember one phone call where I shared a goal to make time to give back to a womens shelter and help out and he said, “why would you want to do that? Its only going to take time away from you spending time with me”. A red flag I regret ignoring, but a moment I’ve learned and grown from.

  • @patrickbinford590 says:

There is absolutely nothing wrong with conditional love. Without conditional love nothing would get done. And there’s absolutely everything alright with unconditional love. But love bombing is based on a lie, not on truth. The love bomber sets up a shared fantasy.

Give me pain and reality over pain pleasure and the addiction of being loved bombed. Not that pain and reality is anywhere near the end of the journey. But it is a necessary thing

    • @DoctorRamaniPrivate says:

Well said. Love bombing can create a fantasy that feels amazing at first, but reality eventually catches up. Sometimes facing the truth and the pain is healthier than staying addicted to an illusion. Healing starts when we choose reality over the fantasy.

  • @MartinSlidelMusicComposer says:

It can be hard to know. Best strategy: just take things slower generally. Because, sadly enough, there also needs to be room for disappointment – and before it escalates.

    • @DoctorRamaniPrivate says:

Absolutely. Taking things slower can give you time to notice patterns before things escalate. And sometimes disappointment is part of learning who someone really is. • @SuB-gy4rb says:

I recently was love bombed by a new neighbor, she had basically nothing and I have lots of excess so I shared, I hired her for some yard work & paid her well and then she really began with the “I just love you sooo much” that put me off and I actually told her that I doubted that 😜 she continued to drop it whenever she needed a “loan” or had to borrow something. At this point, as many boundaries I put up she just blew through them, she was at my door endlessly and I finally lost my patience and blew up at her.
I now have a new enemy neighbor ~ but the bonus is she avoids me like the plague 😉

    • @DoctorRamaniPrivate says:

That sounds exhausting. You were generous, but it sounds like the relationship quickly became one-sided and your boundaries weren’t being respected. Sometimes creating distance is the healthiest choice, even if the other person turns against you. At least you have some peace now.

Thank you for this video. As someone who is starting to date again after an abusive relationship is hard to have faith. I keep thinking maybe I’m being too harsh. Maybe I’m looking for red flags where there are none. I think the biggest take away is that a healthy partner will respect boundaries, will allow space and taking things slow, an abuser will attack and try to make you feel guilty.

    • @DoctorRamaniPrivate says:

Exactly. ❤️ Taking things slowly and seeing how someone respects your boundaries can tell you a lot. You deserve someone who respects your space, not someone who punishes you for it. If you want to talk about narcissism, my DM is open check my bio.
