More! More! More! All us baby boomers are turning 70. We married 50 years ago and have been out of the dating game for a half century! Please bring us up to speed. You are a god-send! Thank you for the encouragement.

    • @EngagedAtAnyAge says:

@@RobinZipporah I disagree with you! My goodness! If you plan on be a life long learner it would be good to let others do what they feel they need to do to feel empowered. I need support after my divorce years ago and feel so grateful I found numerous coaches to guide my process to healing and empowerment.

Simply fantastic, Jaki, every single thing you said was spot on, loved it!! I have a dear teaching colleague/friend who always used to say, “What others think of you is none of your business”, I love that saying and had never heard it before, and now I just heard it for the second time, from you. Great advice! Thanks again for an excellent video and wonderful tips.

  • @lighthouse222222 says:

Wonderful, thank you for sharing. There are so many older singles now, thank you for reaching out to inform because dating after 60 is an entirely different experience. So many dating coaches entirely ignore with their advice singles 50+.

    • @EngagedAtAnyAge says:

I agree! I too was in my 40’s when I met my husband so I understand.

    • @tonysam1955 says:

The problem is you do eventually age out of the “dating market.” The end of the line is before age 50. This is true for both sexes despite tons of nonsense about older men nabbing young women. After that, it is mostly an exercise in futility. Many men have chronic health problems, and those are the ones who are still alive. In my life, younger men just don’t make the grade; I have never been attracted to them. If I ever meet somebody, great, but I am sure not at this point in my life wasting my time pursuing a man. I want to do my thing in the time I have left.

  • @susannesilber3046 says:

Finally someone who understands what it’s like to have matured from insecurities, still trim, easy on the eyes, but bewildered at how to date at this age, after being married a hundred years! Worked hard to distance myself from this. So willing to do what it takes to finding romance! Thank you!🌹

    • @johnreed9050 says:

Are you willing to put out frequently? If not don’t waste your time

    • @EngagedAtAnyAge says:

@faultroy I suggest you stop commenting. You are very negative and she’s just being honest about how real the struggle can be when you’ve not dated in decades. Try to have more empathy and stop judging. Thanks

    • @dianaevans7102 says:

@faultroy you sound like the typical old fart that hasn’t been lucky in the dating pool because of your negative attitude. That’s too bad. Maybe lighten up a bit and give the ladies a chance. You may have went through a bad divorce, well haven’t we all!! Don’t let that make you a bitter old man or you will die alone at an early age.

I know these tutorials are aimed at older ladies, but as an older man having difficulty meeting single older women, I find them very helpful and full of commonsense and positive advice.
As a man, however, some of the Comments posted by other men are embarrassing. I’m not surprised that they can’t find partners.
    Thanks again!

  • @ianbrown5955 says:

Pretty difficult at our age. I was happily married for 21 years. I’m still at a loss of why, or what happened. Maybe for some, love fades with time. Anyways, I’m healed up and ready, but it’s tough. I’ve always looked after myself and been into living a healthy lifestyle. It’s very hard to find a woman who cares about herself, as well as having things in common. Maybe I should join a gym in stead of working out in my basement at home 🙂 I love riding my motorcycle, but women that ride and look after themselves are far and few between.

i am very positive and talk to everyone i have been single for many years. i did date a woman for about 5 weeks but she never smiled and made me feel lonelier than i am by myself. i live on the oregon coast. i havent met too many here as many dont want to be bothered with. my only downfall is i still smoke but i am healthy and fit and i enjoy the simple things in life. i am 65 years old and it isnt easy as one would think.

  • @ramonapullum284 says:

    Awesome advice!!

  • @humbletrader5479 says:

I’m a 65 year old man, haven’t been with a woman since my ex left me with two young sons 13 years ago. I tried the online dating thing for awhile, but nobody was interested in a single father, and I rarely even got a response when I reached out, so I gave that up. My youngest son is now 21, and I’ve been hoping to meet someone special in an organic setting, but so far no luck. I’m financially stable, own my home, have zero debt, maintain good physical and mental fitness, and live a comfortable retired life, yet romance still eludes me. I’ve resigned myself to growing old alone, but wish everyone well that has found love late in life.
