I’ve been saying this from months. I use to wear slim or skinny, but you need more drape, bc if u look side profile it says it all

3:15 I’ve had daily sciatica pain & muscle soreness due to scoliosis in my low back since August. I have that exact pair from Cole Haan shoes to wear at work instead of my hard dress shoes at the recommendation of both my friend and my physical therapist. They’re comfortable and supportive of my back while at work.

Not that I mind at this point since they help support me, but good to know these continuously get downtrodden and all the women unanimously hated them in the last video…

    • @CourtneyRyan says:

I’d view it a little differently if it’s for health reasons! I have scoliosis as well so I know the struggle. I wonder if putting inserts in your dress shoes would help? I’ll have to look into that!

4:00 I followed my dad in getting a number of leather dress shoes from Allen Edmunds. It wasn’t till I was older that I realized good leather dress shoes are timeless and are better paired with suits!

Happy Wednesday Courtney. Thanks for another fun video. Great content as always.

Good morning Courtney, and happy Wednesday. I was considering doing some shopping soon, this insight really makes a difference. As always, keep up the amazing work!

  • @jds1616 says:

Style is always classic and can go anywhere! Fashion is as fleeting as the wind.

  • @YourTGJ says:

In regards to the smartwatch, using a Samsung Watch (Samsung Watch 6 Classic) with an analog face and metal band looks like normal watch and would go well with any outfit and wouldn’t standout like a sore thumb. There isn’t any way to do this with an Apple Watch.

  • @davedove67 says:

Wearing big logos doesn’t mean you are paying for quality. It means you are paying for THEIR advertising.

  • @donyconjux1 says:

0:39 restricting or overly tight clothing
    3:17 dress sneakers
5:06 smart watches with elevated attire
    7:07 overly branded clothing
    9:22 trend overload

Thanks for the video Courtney! I understand your tips might not be applicable to everyone with varying lifestyles but in general I think its a great foundation to build on your own personal style. I learn something new every time I watch your videos so its been really helpful. Have a good day!

  • @Teddy_Gautier says:

I love your pragmatic, systematic and realistic approach to style. I have said for years now that not all clothing is for everyone but people call me negative. It’s just being realistic

    Happy Wednesday, Courtney! ❤

  • @Csabberfej says:

Great video, Courtney! Style and fashion are 2 different things. Fashion changes constantly, style is timeless.

  • @shigshug8581 says:

Where can I get those brown boots?

  • @FelixAnanos says:

    Great video as usual.
Trending style come and goes as o see the wide pants are coming back even I see in women in late 30’s , 40’s and early 50’s

I must say women can get away with those style unlike gutsy depending of the age and body type but you know what is eternal? It is always a fit outfit but not too tight or too relax.
I will say invest in alterations is your brand fit you well but there is always a part off like for me is the sleeves length ( always one and half inches long) in blazers and jacket.

However; all style is good but it won’t matter if you have poor or no evolve in style in your place as decorations is important!

Courtney should talk about home/ place decorations that suit you because honestly it says a lot about a person .

  • @JoRocket77 says:

I agree wholeheartedly. Excellent advice. Took me a long time to learn that fit and fabric are much more important than the price tag.

  • @bigdogbill8988 says:

Courtney thank you!… styles that can stand the test of time.. not everyone can afford a lot for clothes.. the Salvation Army, garage sales help.. I remember back in 2012?..two women early 20’s both wore ripped shirts.. the shirts looked older but still had life in them..
they used older leggings.. cut them were the calves would be.. being unique..
And both girls put them on their biceps. It gave them comfort, style and practicality. It was in the fall season.. they looked so happy!
I’m suprised the store didn’t burn down because they were so hot. Either way..
I had to call the fashion police on my sons a couple of times.. they are still learning.. red flags everywhere! But I hope they are getting the concepts.. we will see.. I have that number on speed dial!
Thank you ladies for your amazing style
You’re truly God’s blessing.. even using color markers to color your shoes! Back when email didn’t exist. I remember those days!

  • @Lawrence_writer says:

I’ve been following you for, gosh, a long time. I enjoy some videos. The this-is-what-you-can-wear videos are applicable to a whole different sector of men than I have ever known. I still like your style.

  • @thomasclayton3284 says:

Dress sneakers I’d agree aren’t good for dates or formal wear, but i wear a pair to casual dress work office. I got to walk a long way from car to building. Then a long way to desk. Then walk here and there in office when going to kitchen or restroom. I’m just not gonna wear typical dress shoes for that far anymore for work. And at least i’m not wearing full on sneakers like you see athletes or sports media sometimes wear with suits.

  • @joshm9003 says:

When i went to the UK after a long hiatus of no international travel. I remembered how little the UK and Europeans wear logos on their clothes. I felt like a walking billboard! Ive definitely toned down more on branded shirts.

  • @iamtesting3824 says:

    I own Citizen watches.
not too expensive yet good balance of price and pragmatism as well as design.
