I would agree if we still made the money we used to make before Obamacare and before job started offering 40 hours a week and full benefits. When I made six figures then I had no problem supporting my wife. Society now has made it so you need two paychecks to support a household
You realize that it just isn’t that simple don’t you? That you are perpetuating a cliche stereotype because that might be what YOU want in life but isn’t suitable, or even possible, for all? Your bias is as obvious as your ridiculous video filter. Not fooling anyone. Let me tell you a little story, my husband died a few years ago and for fifteen years, I worked and he stayed home because he was ill and became unable to work. I cherish the memory of every meal he made me, every hug he gave me, every thank you I got for taking care of our family. I’m a great handyman, I know how to change a tire on my own, and don’t have any regrets about any of it except that I couldn’t do it longer. Love doesn’t always have “traditional gender roles” and if that is what you think, you are in for a huge shock if life ever decides to slap you in the face with something unexpected.
