I don’t feel the support right now and im realizing the reality of why im feeling stuck. The fact that im not willing to go hide under a rock until he finds new supply. Why do I feel so doomed. He put me out the house and is calling day n night. Showing up to my mom’s house unannounced. Constantly hovering me. Making false promises. Keeping me in a state of discomfort and I’m always on edge. I hate that I have to fight back and stand my ground more now than ever because I’m not a quitter.. 😊 but this is gonna take all I got
This is what I call “the scotch tape effect”. Treating you like he hates you and like he loves you at the same time. It’s a splitting incident where he’s going full-steam in 2 opposite directions. Just like when you tear scotch tape in half and pull it in 2 different directions. It keeps going and going till the 2 halves are far, far apart. This is what causes cognitive dissonance. Your brain is trying to hold onto 2 completely opposite beliefs at once. It causes brain fog, lack of clarity and exhaustion!
Oh btw I subbed your channel 😊
