Your messages are changing and evolving since you were with Maria. You used to preach going all in quickly, now it sounds like you’re speaking of a slower approach. My bf wants to go all in quickly and I want to do the commitment but apart for now and grow to a place where we will be ready for marriage down the road. I ultimately want that but I don’t want to make the living together commitment without really being committed. Would you do what you did with Maria again now knowing what you know or would you have done it differently? BTW, I live 2 hours from my bf so to be together means I have to move.
I believe in jumping in with radical honesty right from the beginning… I hid my fears with Marie, and if I had spoken my emotional truth in the beginning, maybe we would not have moved in together. I know myself so much better now because of that experience.

Hello dear Jonathon… it does make a lot of sense. For me it’s always easier to navigate when I know why someone is pulling away or pushing me out. I have to make sure I’m not going into therapist mode and try to solve it like a criminal justice case, but I can react with softness and patience instead of accusations and complaints.
Even tho I am right with what I’m saying and the man can rationally understand, it won’t make him come closer.
It’s a balance act between having self respect and stay away if we’re not getting heard and being able to work on a solution, and cutting them some slack.
Most do not tell you why they being distant… so that’s the hardest part. And knowing if it’s worth staying to see if it can be fixed….
Trust can’t grow with so many mixed messages 🤷🏻♀️ I can trust myself and I will 💜

I am Empathetic and knew something was up with you and your new Relationship. I also gathered that 1.5 years after Marie wasn’t soon enough for you to Heal, even with all your Therapy. I am on 2 years this week after my All In 5 year Partnership whom I lived with for 4 years. Who also started dating my Ex Best GF of 20 years only 3 mos after he left me (I wont probably ever get over that Trust being broken by her & him). Whom I mentioned now numerous times since Jan when I found your channel. I am still not close to giving my heart again 💔. I have realized that what I currently need is to have the Edges soften for now. I still have Residue, fear of Trusting, working on my own Automy Financial with my Horse/Lessons Training Business.
