Textbook Hollywood divorce. Sucks for the aceman and u know that beeyatch is gonna drain him.

    • @jemagu6 says:

Yes but don’t forget… Lynette has been running Carolla Drinks for quite a few years now, so she has a sizable stake in that company.

    • @WKRP187 says:

@@jemagu6 Wow!! You mean she took it over after Adam started it from scratch and got up and running while he had 10 other jobs?? How could she run a company when she was flying all over the country chasing Bruce Springsteen shows on Adams dime… Kids are grown, she wanted out.. F…k her she deserves jackshit from him

    • @muximus2771 says:

@@jemagu6 Ha she’ll get him for tens of millions… carolla drinks is a pet project that probably breaks even. He’ll be fine but he’s gonna get hosed.

  • @upgrayedd9732 says:

With the twins about to fly away from the coop, this isn’t surprising. At least Adam gets to trade-in his high milage, high maint. vehicle for a brand new model, but it’s gonna be costly.

  • @edwardc.8031 says:

Men with resources or the potential to obtain resources shouldn’t get married. Period.

  • @mikef7672 says:

Adam’s assets are complicated. Geragos might be giving him advice.

  • @WKRP187 says:

It’s scary how comfortable everyone is with the thought that some talentless chick that has lived way above her means for her contribution to the household, had nanny raise their kids and they’re grown and somehow everyone thinks she deserves half his self made empire for doing nothing. F…k that nonsense

  • @paulmetesh7981 says:

This is a Classic American Celibrity Divorce…. AceMan is going to lose mucho $$$$ to a Female Monetary Based Carbon Unit & already has a nicer, younger one lined up 👍

  • @landajimmy says:

Damn, his new gf is a smoke.

  • @michaelfeeney4550 says:

Yep -the liquid assets was what I waa thinking. Not to tip his hand but there are some very complicated issues that lawyers may find need to be litigated and negotiated. And the end result the Ace Man is gonna take it in the nuts.

  • @mjs28s says:

From what I gathered from listening to the show I think that Bryan and Gena moved on before Adam downsizes the staff and moves out of California. I believe he has said a number of times that as soon as the kids turn 18 he is gone. Maybe he plans on leaving as soon as the divorce is over as he likely now knows how much in capital gains taxes he will be paying in order to liquidate some of the hard assets in order to give Lynette her half.

    • @michaelfeeney4550 says:

they don’t have to sell all the assets – they can split the assets up – that Newman car though? She also qualifies for the dreaded alimony for life probably, at her age with her total lack of any employable skills. He should have dumped her at year 8 – if you are getting close to 10 years marriage in CA – reevaluate or at least evaluate

  • @robertdirocco1885 says:

    Men always lose in divorce

  • @alvinfew8711 says:

Here’s the solution. Don’t get a government marriage. If you want to get married, you can go to a minister, have a ceremony and all the other stuff without getting a government permission slip. In most cases, common law marriage no longer exists and you don’t have to go through the divorce process if it doesn’t work. If the woman you’re with doesn’t agree to it she’s not the one.

  • @TumescentToucan says:

Sucks for Adam, but not surprised. Lynette’s life was insanely cushy. I always wondered what she did all day with no job and a full-time nanny. Spending Adam’s money, no doubt, and she’ll continue to do so with the divorce money.

    • @SiccDeville says:

she did have a failed podcast off of Adam’s dime. i think she host parties with Adam’s drink Mangria.

    • @josephlennon3786 says:

      Bang the e street band

    • @dirkdiggler9379 says:

Add this is why more and more men don’t get married. It’s all a scam

    • @BKPS says:

She ran Carolla drinks, organized his charity stuff, and I think handled PR to some degree. For Carolla Drinks she distributed wines internationally which is impressive though I’m sure she had help. Speaking of, I bought a few bottles of Mangria myself online, and a couple of bottles in California and it was a nice product. Sad to see it go.

  • @dolltall says:

50/50 plus he will have to take care of his children, alimony and alienation

  • @mattsheezy5469 says:

Adam was on The Man Show, Loveline on MTV & Loveline the radio show, he did mornings on KROC, he’s built his podcast, written so many books, and now he’s got to give her half of all he’s worked for his entire life 😳

    • @chrgeorgeson says:

Yup, and people still act surprised. While I agree that this should change Adam could have protected himself and done a prenuptial agreement.

Again I think it’s outrageous but again…. This has been common in the divorce industry (and yes it’s an industry) for so many years.

  • @Jonsey-lm5sv says:

WHY wouldn’t Adam have a prenup??? It’s mind boggling.

    • @tripnick3 says:

It’s all value that was made during the marriage.

    • @tyd8077 says:

When you go back and listen to the ooooold Loveline episodes you can track when he met Lynette, moved in, got married, etc. He was head over heels for her even though he tried to pretend he wasn’t. He was struck by how pretty she was and how big her boobs were. P-whipped

    • @annie57eliz says:

He wasn’t famous or wealthy when they got married.

    • @Jonsey-lm5sv says:

@@annie57eliz , yes he most definitely was.

  • @thegoodchad3578 says:

Why is it so difficult? No human being deserves $25m for being the stay at home parent especially when they had nannies and cleaning services

  • @hmbiss says:

For perhaps 5 years, Adam would make passive aggressive comments regarding Lynette. They always struck me that he wasn’t happy with her. For all we know, she could have felt the same. 25 years is a long time to be married. Sometimes people grow apart.

  • @BarneeFife says:

Classic case of he was over his head with his first wife (his looks vs. hers), so he jumped on that opo,…..then she had kids and aged…… He had some success, decided he would upgrade, put a pile of cash in front of her, made the fatal mistake of starting to date right away, which , of course, REALLY pisses off the future ex. She hires a lawyer because she knows the pile of cash will be a LOT higher than the pile she put in front of her.
The best part is that he is jumping right back into the fire with the new chick. Rinse and repeat.

  • @replicas11 says:

Adam is a reasonable man, if there is difficulty here I can only assume it is not because of him.

  • @johnkurland3912 says:

Why does she think she is owed that much? Ridiculous
