The idea of those young women being forced to stay “on ice” in total silence while being deprived of sleep and food is just devastating. It’s a classic example of how an engineered environment can be used to manipulate someone’s reality until they don’t know which way is up. What do you think is the most damaging part for them—the physical exhaustion or the feeling that their voices didn’t actually matter unless a camera was on? 🕊

I just tried to watch this show last night. It made me sick. Poor Shandi 😢 Please post more of this interview, I need to hear Dr. Ramani’s voice of sanity in regard to this.
He was also an enabler. I remember the episode where that young lady was being sexually harassed on set and when she spoke out about it; he basically told her to get over it. People talk about the “times”, but I was young kid watching and I KNEW that was very wrong even back then.

He’s not being fully transparent/honest about this and he knows it. I forget who but one of the winners was talking to another contestant and they said the whole “On ice thing” could last for HOURS. They would wake these girls up early, purposely, and then force them to sit and wait in the limo for hours at a time while they set up.
