I have the best strategy – DO. *NOT* . GET. MARRIED. … _Game over_ .

    • @stargirl6659 says:

      Or get a prenup

    • @Hardworking_Trucker says:

@@stargirl6659 have to be careful with those, they can be picked apart by lawyers or simply dismissed as irrelevant by a judge……

    • @chrisj1455 says:

I agree! Marriage is so outdated that most of my generation (millennials) is choosing not to get legally married. As long as we live in a state that doesn’t have common law marriage, this is the best approach.

    • @alltheworldsastage4785 says:

It’s pretty fool-proof as far as I’m concerned, no marriage, no headache. 😂

    • @RickMichaels-if5eq says:

Best Strategy Ever! Never Get Married!✊🏽

  • @Mikepepp2 says:

Married 20 years. I’m now free no alimony, kept my pension. She got the house I’m good 💯💯💯. Separation agreement not incorporated into divorce.

  • @happymoment911 says:

Hi. I am watching from Canada.
My husband’s ex is trying to squeeze pennies from my husband even they got divorced in Canada.once she back to Poland she starts to trying to file a lawsuit for her medical expenses (all faked) because she doesn’t want to work in her country.
I wish I could have advice from you.

  • @Nosuchthingastrans says:

    Just don’t marry them??..

  • @uncletimo6059 says:

    1) dont get married
    2) be cognizant that a judge may and shall nullify the prenup for any reason, real or made up

    • @ralph4370 says:

or in California where the judge may round up to 10 years at their discretion to qualify for lifetime alimony. Look at Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman. He argued they separated at 8 years and change she argued it was 9 years a1/2. Tom won but still unscathed.

  • @notarobot459 says:

    Stay single and dont mingle.

  • @criticalwealththeory says:

    losing 100k myself right now..

  • @georgesontag2192 says:

The judge deducted $25,000 from our home equity for her alimony. Some men really dont have a say so.

  • @WolfStory says:

Never, ever, ever, ever, ever get married. You are marrying the state. Why do that? Keep the govt. out of your relationships.

    • @g-forcefundamentals2912 says:

I never thought of it that way, but now that I’m thinking about divorce, I like what you say. For me it was a legal contract to provide health insurance and other financial benefits (discounts) for my wife.

    • @WolfStory says:

@@g-forcefundamentals2912 Wise man to at least ponder it.

How to Avoid Alimony in a Divorce??? Um never get married

  • @rocketboostjump says:

This is a like a defense attorney telling you how to avoid jail

  • @CosmosChill7649 says:

You can only decide how to pay your alimony
    NOT how to avoid it

  • @dannytopping2438 says:

How to avoid alimony ? It’s easy don’t get married because marriage Is pointless and get a prenup If that helps.

  • @Janisg616 says:

2:28 Alimony is child support for adults – so ture good explanation. Such thing should not exist, split assets and live your lives.

  • @larrylorimer3065 says:

A Marriage contract should be treated as a Business contract. End of story!

  • @Britishdave09 says:

A buyout is not how to avoid it. A buyout is just prepaid alimony in a lump sum payment.

  • @empire595 says:

I’ve been married for 10 months . My wife doesn’t work but she got a considerable settlement from her previous husband.

  • @johnrowley310 says:

Why would you enter in a contract when the person who breaks it wins???
