Sending you hugs, you’re still not seeing the parts of you that love and protect you, who were created during childhood, who still believe you’re not an adult. Until they are seen, understood, brought up to date and unburdened so they can go off and play, they will run the show and affect all your relationships. My IFS therapist’s analogy—a house is on fire and when the the firefighters come to save the day, they have to break all the windows and doors to do their job (our parts), then they leave. Translate that to relationships…
It was clearly evident when you said you agreed to go camping, yet showed up with your ‘pissy’ part with the group and when your parts had to be begged to try again with the board. (It was nice to hear you were able to move into Self energy, courage, and were able to break that board! Yay!)
Anyway, you would benefit greatly from IFS therapy. It would change your energy, elevate your life and make a better coach since you’d be operating authentically, what you preach is what you live. 💗
Good examples on how to phrase things, generally women are terrible with communication and how they approach men. If anyone talked to them that way, they’d be outraged and calling him a narcissist. 😂 Would they talk to a girlfriend like that?
