Hooray! Thanks for calling out what’s happening in our world Dr Ramani. We see so clearly after living with demons

  • @RachelC.19 says:

This couldn’t have come at a better time. I just left a high demand organization that I slave-gave for the last 29 years and left my husband of 27 years because the marriage was required as well. I would love to tell you more about this.

  • @David-bc4rh says:

Damn, I thought we were finally going to talk about our toxic state and corporate leaders.

  • @amarbyrd2520 says:

So grateful for this even as I feel like I could have used this years ago … and I can’t imagine I’m the only one — the worst part is that other people will believe the narcissistic boss, and not you 😢

  • @panggami4054 says:

Awesome vid! That segment about narcissistic bosses was spot on! It’s especially worst in small, family-run businesses. Where thre owner/president ans vice-presidents are each others spouse. Man, they bring their household drama to work and the “happy wife, happy life” like it’s the number one rule.
Plus, the lazy spouse gets away with slacking off at work just because. Then, the poor, future-frozen secretary has to serve both bosses, customers and other employees. Contributes an insane amount of work to keep the wheels runnung.
Meanwhile, the narc bosses arrogantly claim all the credit.
Can’t just leave because of economy…damn trapped.

  • @ChandraHrynyk says:

This is exactly what has happened to me, I am also a gifted Autistic with ADHD, and the idea of having to document everything is exhausting. We shouldn’t need to have to prove to anyone that we are not crazy! Why are narcissists given the benefit of the doubt while we systematically traumatize employees further by putting the “work” on them to have physical proof for others to believe them. This needs to be an unacceptable social behaviour that we hold people accountable for. My boss finally pushed me to the breaking point where I did stand up. This what out of Norm for me and as a result I have now been diagnosed with an “adjustment” disorder? What a terrible label for what I experienced. NARCISSISTIC inflicted TRAUMA feels way more appropriate. I feel terrible for those friends I left behind and are still being actively INJURED on a daily basis. We need better tools to help deal with these types of corporate BULLIES.

  • @Strengtheningselffirst2 says:

Thank you, for detailed explanation, Dr. Ramani. (going to be a long ride, with restructuring after severance offers), the bullies are on alert and trying to cause underhanded chaos to deflect) many masks are being ripped off….. such a mess all the way around.

  • @MichellePlaskoff-y2t says:

Sounds like our current administration 😢 its horrible…zero empathy

  • @ioannagerostathi708 says:

Doctor Ramani thanks so much for this video. I have been lucky enough to keep narcissists at a certain distance in my personal life but in the workplace…It looks like the whole system is created for the narcissists’, their enablers and flying monkeys. Thanks once more looking forward to your next video❤

  • @KathieMihindukulasuriya says:

Spot on about The Devil Wears Prada. This is NOT how narcissistic bosses act. I have seen them try to sabotage people they forced out – because if the person succeeds after they have told everyone how the person is “nothing” without them, what does that mean? Also, they are vindictive and feel that there is only so much happiness and success to go around, so you having any means less for them.

    • @kathy-annhart2632 says:

Be warned: I’ve experienced this at a nonprofit, which most people associate with warmth and care.

  • @andrzejnicholai2855 says:

As a non-morning person, THANK YOU! I’m not meditating, emailing, acquiring crypto or jogging in the wee hours. It’s enough just to get up and get a cup of tea! The future freezing was an interesting concept, I’ve never heard it explained like that. 🙂👣🦋

  • @jeniferjohnson374 says:

You ever meet those ppl that get up early at a specific time, do their rituals and workouts, etc then put you down for not doing it, they stop doing it, but expect you or the rest of the family to keep going?

  • @AaronCross760 says:

we need more narcissist awareness on the mainstream media, I had no clue it was like a devastating mental illness (devastating to the ones around the infected)

    • @DaphneBlack963 says:

The trouble is that the media is owned and run by people that don’t want you to learn about it. It would interfere with their own plans of control if people learned to see them for what they are.

  • @Kenzofeis says:

The company should be about the company AND the wellbeing of the workers without whom it could do nothing.
Enter the sabotaging backstabber who makes everything about him/her – no company is well served by that.

  • @jarenkoelzer1994 says:

I needed this. I’m about to go through litigation with my now former employer. The things they did were illegal and horrific. I have been future frozen for months, and you just helped me recognize it. Thank you so much for continuing to educate us all, and more than that, for being so authentic and empathetic while doing it. Much respect Dr. Ramani.

  • @goodfaithdiamondmine says:

Dr. Ramani, you sure nailed it 100%. we would love more content on the subject. it sure gets weird out there. thank you so much for your help! 💚

  • @yukio_saito says:

All good people left my previous job because of a malignant coworker and an incompetent boss.
    🏃‍♂🏃💨💨

  • @magdalenanowakowska5263 says:

sad thing is that HR is full of narcissists, they made crappy PR for a company treating badly candidates during recruitment process

  • @smithkaren1387 says:

Dr. Ramani answered many of my, “WHY ARE THEY DOING THIS?” questions!!❤ I had to resign from a jobs that I enjoyed because of narc bosses!😢
