Till a man DOES the hard brutal work of facing his demons from his wife cheating & divorcing him or she passes away, he’s going to keep destroying good women right & left & then whine about being lonely. I spent 5 years living alone doing that hard work healing emotionally from an abusive marriage, I’ll never heal from the neurological damage, I do not need some guy 50 & older to just add more emotional injury. I learned to love me thru that process but will not be some guy’s mommy to fill the void of his past marriage!
This is so darn true. We want someone to love us so we don’t feel so alone also. For me at least. Not sure why I can’t just be happy alone. I think humans are such social beings we need the connection.

It’s discouraging & frustrating…so many damaged men out there, immature, porn addicted, with perceptions of women that run the gamut from total b—-hes that need controlling to just take what you can get & move on from her. I’m as far away from wanting a man in my life than I’ve ever been. I had the best—for 40 years—and now he’s gone. If I’m going to honor his memory I need to just focus on me & get my life right without him.
