I agree. I used to be a group of FB about healing from Narcissists. It really helped. And then I got strong and was helping others. Then one day, I felt more triggered and bothered than helped. So I left the group. I feel like its the same with videos. Sometimes things are needed for a time, not forever. You have to know where you are and what does and doesnt serve your healing journey.

I agree, at some point it keeps you stuck cause it feels like dragging the ball and chain along. I watch because I never want to forget, but knowing that I can always refer back to these incredible, helpful , supportive and healing videos I can go free and let it go and be creative in my life.
I have definitely taken breaks from it – just like everything else in life. It’s important to self regulate. Plus I need time to “let it sink in”.
Touche!
Absolutely 💯
If you cant afford a psychotherapist these videos are a lifesaver. First year i learnt my family were narcissists i couldnt stop watching these videos every single day but then things became so overwhelming(and they still are) i can barely deal with daily stuff and bad health news keep coming so watching videos is not so regular as before, honestly i more often want to just forget about all that and watch some fantasy movie etc but there are still days i feel urge to rewatch some of most favourite old videos, its not that i forgot the information but just listening to drRamanis pitch and voice calms me down.
I feel anything become over obsession. Sometimes I watch too much tarot reading, and then it can play on you. Then you looking for problem than just being aware or dealing with them.
I just watch it when I need more healing. It really is so helpful advice I never go back with a narcissist.
I’ve had a therapist who knew nothing about narcissism. Not helpful
lol same, I kinda just like listening to her voice at this point 😀
Dr Ramine you have changed my life. Opened a window. I live now!
Nope. Not going to stop. I went through DECADES of abuse so it’s gong to take a loooong time to heal. It’s not obsession, it’s healing.
I’ve thought of taking a break from watching videos about narcissism, and then one pops up that validates my experience even more and provides an aha moment. They help to quell that nagging doubt and second-guessing ourselves and our experiences. In other words, these videos help me stop gaslighting myself. They provide more clarity, validation and let us know that we aren’t alone and it’s not all in our heads! They also help me have the language and understanding to explore more when I see my therapist.
Exactly! Sometimes it’s therapeutic to hear validation that our experiences with narcissists were real, because these such experiences feel so egregious and unreal.
I love you Dr. Romani. I am leaving your channel stronger and wiser . For me you are an angel. ❤
I have to agree with you on this. I cannot keep watching something I now know over and over and not be healed. It is time for me to start the healing process for me and my children.
These videos keeps me healing.
I agree: We can get “stuck” in examining any phenomenon until it becomes unproductive. Narcissism – get it! Since then, examining the CPTSD patterns in my life, and how to address them.
This is so timely. I have thought about this over the last year. Once I hit radical acceptance, I found myself strong enough to not watch every day or week. Grateful to hear that is normal. But also grateful for all of the help in this first few years.
Even your video about not consuming so many videos is still helpful! ❤
But I get it, this is a journey of healing that happens differently for everyone and moderation of this topic is wise.
We face narcissists every day. Without these guidelines, videos, and tools such as DEEP, we’d be unprepared and unable to stay in the sane lane. Radical acceptance isn’t just a one-time thing.
I watched your channel for 2-3 years and have been on break. It happened naturally. Then I saw today’s topic. Thank you!
I don’t know where I would have been if it weren’t for binging these videos 😅
This video says a lot, 4 years ago, I divorced a narcissist who consistently cheated on me, It took me over a year to get over her. I got my passport and travelled and had so much time to my self, and then I thought i was ready for love again. I was totally wrong, I doubted everything she did (my new partner) and it cost me the relationship. It is a sad world we live in, and i must say, to whomever is reading this, please heal before getting into a new relationship, so you do not end up hurting yourself and your partner, we owe ourselves love and sincerity in this cold world
This is my first time commenting on videos, I do love scrolling past comments, sometimes you learn a thing or two, I totally understand what you went through, trust me I do, I experienced worse, I wish i could explain every bit of what happened but it will take days, but the good thing is, I never stopped, i kept fighting and I got him back.
Wow, this is inspirational, I am so sorry about your experience, how did you cope and does the pain ever go away?
It is always tough at first, but the pain, does go away if you are ready to face it head on. If you still love your partner, put your ego aside and do not listen to people who have no idea what you are going through. A friend referred me to a spiritual counsellor, It is something i never tried before, but it turned out to be a revelation and a blessing, I was able to win the love of my life back with the help of a spiritual counsellor.
A spiritual counsellor? first time i have heard about a spiritual counsellor, I saw a shrink for a couple of weeks, but I wasn’t getting any better emotionally and mentally. Do you think this counsellor could help? how do i get in touch? can i watch his or her videos? how does it work?
Her name is Suzanne Ann Walters, and she is a great spiritual counsellor.
It’s kind, helpful, generous, nurturing, and a host of other adjectives, for you to be advising us to focus on ourselves now that we’ve learned much about narcissism.
Dr. Ramani, you are a healer! Thank you for being so committed to our well-being that you even prioritize it over your own “business model”. Who does this?! Only someone whose authentic compassion for those you would help and empower overrides the need to maximize monetization.
I can only say that I’m grateful beyond words for your work. This channel is an oasis for me. I sometimes come by every day, to learn, to be nurtured and soothed, to escape from the parched desert of certain situations, etc. Sometimes I stop by only occasionally, and don’t even stay for the entire video. And sometimes I simply revisit earlier videos, noticing that I can get even more value from them now.
But I will never stop coming to your channel, be sure of that! And recommending it to others on this journey. As several other people here in the Comments have said, you’re a gift to us. You’re a life-saver, a beacon of light and hope. And I do take your message in this video: I am focusing more these days on my wellness journey, on who I am/want to be. Learning about toxic narcissism is the foundation. I will build on that foundation. And always be grateful to you for helping to build that strong base from which to rise.
Thank you, Dr. Ramani. And bless you.
Such a good message 🙏🏻
