Well I am not sure if “IT” will get better, no one knows that. But I am getting better. Your advice of the children gravitate towards the parent that takes the divorce better has been my guiding star. She may have taken many things from me. There was no way I was going to let her take being a Dad from me.
Mark, very kind words. Just be present for them and don’t make it weirder than it already is with them having to see one of their parents leave the house. Remain positive without having to say it. Bless brother
I feel paroled… What’s next? Whatever I want to do or make it be. I only answer to myself now.
I’ve learned to say no to marriage/co-habitation going forward. She’s not yours just your turn.
It’s been a huge learning curve, past RPR phase, and just enjoying my peace. Protect yourselves at all times gents.
Brother, valuable insights you shared. “Paroled”. I’m gonna steal it some day my man. That’s what it’s like. You’re out but so institutionalized that you don’t know what to do now. I like that.
