So true! My parents told me zIwas a loser and disappointment because I didn’t go to grad school. My father is and was critical of my weight. Crying wasn’t acceptable. I don’t have anger issues. When my ex told me he was interested in a relationship but not with me., so I felt like I wasn’t good enough. I emotionally shut down.
That’s terrible 😪
My mom told me I was too sensitive and needed to be tough like my sister….
How did that affect you?
I felt inferior. And it was my younger sister. I have spoken to my sis about it. We had a good convo about it now. Our mom passed in 2010. I have come to embrace my sensitive side. Stronger for it and more empathetic. Thank you for asking .@JonathonAslay

OMG! These are the 2 people who supposedly love you more than anyone, besides Jesus. I never heard anything even remotely similar to any of those things from my parents or any teacher. I am so glad that I never had any children who i could have damaged in any way!
I get it..
I am the Oldest of 5 and my mom died in 2018. She buried a secret w her and never told me whom my father was. She also favorites my 3 brothers. She also had children w 4 different men. Lots of damage she did to me & my siblings (only 2 left besides myself).
Omgosh… that must be hard. 😪
Also I went on a lunch date on Sun & this guy was nice looking but he asked me if my lips & boobs were real about 10x & than asked me another 10x when he can see me again & was all about trying to kiss me. It stressed me out so badly
Some men only care about looks and sex.
