is it common for people to get into spirituality to make sense of these kind of family dynamics

    • @pragmaticpoet says:

I feel that spirituality is one of many other predatory gurus that one is exposed to when needing to sort out narcissistic enmeshment wounds, because very often spiritualized dogma, beliefs, coping tactics have been a source of enabling the narc / enmeshmrnt behavior… but fir myself the nervous system regulation of meditation, cultivating my relationship with a benevolent creator that supports each of our self secure autonomy did to centre this rather than the narc attempting to have them be centered really stabilized myself away from seeking the nurturung of universal love from other humans that are not capable of consistent deep love… this is the parts of spiritiality that I would warn against and the parts I pragmatically found very supportive. Hope you findvthis helpful 🙏😇 secure attachment theory was really the absolute best on getting ckear on individuation to counter enmeshment and how to compasdionsly identify others who are insecure that allows one the ability to graciously not participate with insecure attachment behavior – less wooooo and toxic hope, more if this is the problem = there is a tangible solution 🥰🌻

If they’re nice to us meaning they need a favor. Then they blame us on some pretext so that they don’t have to return the favor.

“High school mean girls stay high school mean girls”😂

  • @FRM888 says:

The girlfriend is in that “bad trip” that, those of us who were in narc intimate relationships, hang on to thinking the Narc will change/open up/come around/realise…and, only then, the relationship will flourish and, hey, we stick with them through “the process”. We sadly fool ourselves. Lived it and learned it.

Great analysis! Also because mostly I was feeling the Thailand setting, but not so much the storylines. But they’re beginning to grow on me. You only forgot to mention the local characters, Mook and Gaitok. My feeling with Gaitok is either he will get his moment to rise and become a kind of savior, or he doesn’t have what it takes and realizes that he’s not a killer. I still don’t quite know if Mook has become interested in Gaiktok, or just likes the attention, but I think she has warmed up to him. If we look at the meaning of their names, Gaitok means Guineafowl – a domesticated bird related to the turkey, a kind of chicken. While Mook means an incompetent, inept and foolish person in English, but a pearl in Thai.

I think Greg is gonna announce he’s dying (real or not) and try to make amends by offering Belinda money for her spa in hopes that she’s stay quiet.

After watching this first season with now my x wife who I watched it with & my oldest daughter who I’ve had to considerably distance myself from – Why ? I could not help by watching this show how much narcissism & sociopathy they live daily. My X wife as of Jan 31st 2024 found a new returning friend from years past also narcissistic and my X couldn’t and wouldn’t see it instead discarded me for her & saved my life .
That show is a mirror for this suffering in what Dr is talking about .

  • @j797s25 says:

I love the three women something about it feels so real like I’ve friends who behave like this and it feels so well written and acted

    • @ruthslater6364 says:

Eckart was an idiot. Believe me I’m 78 years old. Been through stuff you couldn’t even think of BELIEVE THEY WERENT ILLUSIONS THEY WERE REAL. BLOODY REAL .

    • @consciouscreatorvideos says:

@@ruthslater6364of course they were real. That’s not what Eckhart is saying though when he states “problems are illusions of the mind”.

  • @rosem6861 says:

Oh no!!! You my be right about Belinda’s lover 😭

  • @danamatsukawa4762 says:

I thought the the brother relationship issue was bound to happen given the level of disfunction.

  • @AerialAssault87 says:

I’m just as excited for these breakdowns as I am for the actual episodes! I watch and think, “Ooh… I wonder what Dr. Ramani is going to say about THAT!” 😂

  • @AerialAssault87 says:

Part of me thinks Gaitok might snap. He seems so nice, but he’s so terrible at his job and has issues with his masculinity. He’s either going to stop the shooter or be the shooter. The imagery in the opening insinuated an uprising against the rich.
The narc mother could also be the family annihilator if she finds out they have nothing left to go home to but embarrassment. I think it’s the youngest son we see floating, because when the actor’s name appears in the credits, the image is of someone floating in the river.
I also think there will be more than one victim.
    This season is so fun.

  • @anniegoulaheee8025 says:

I think the father gets it. He will get in the way of another altercation and will sacrifice himself for another to redeem himself

Walter Goggins is an amazing actor! Chelsea is a beautiful counterpart to his character, Rick. They are my favorite storyline this season.

Edit: I think there will be 3 deaths this season, just a feeling.

  • @queenofwandsastrology8907 says:

This has been my favorite season so far. Rick and Chelsea are my favorites in this season! Walton Goggins is such a great actor in everything Ive ever seen him in and I cant wait to see the next 2 episodes with his story line.

I love what you said about the boundaries of the Ratliff family and especially of the brothers. Saxon has the worst boundaries in the family, other than his mother’s, but it seemed like Lochlan was really looking for his brothers approval overall. Uninhibited judgement is never the best so his way of going about it was a terrible choice but thats the dynamic I got from that.

I loved the scene with Chloe, Chelsea and Saxon at the pool. Those women have a fantastic way of bringing him down to earth and showing the gaping holes in his ego and his lack of world experience and I love that dynamic.

The 3 friends are super annoying to watch and as a woman I have absolutely been in this dynamic with girlfriends. I hate it! I burned all those personal bridges and its the best thing I ever did regarding those friendships. As the meme says “Ain’t nobody got time for that!” 😂

Im not super attached to any of the characters really except for Chelsea and Belinda. Chelsea and Belinda must be protected at all costs! I will be very sad if either of them die.
