I thought the metaphor of sweet Chelsea trying to save the vulnerable narcissist ultimately costing her life was both brilliant and tragic. It’s what these relationships do to people.And Rick finally getting peace as the sun shined on his face- only upon death.
Exactly…he would never feel or take the love right in front of him…which cost him and her…I think its apt especially for mothers of vulnerable narcs…many lose their life metaphorically or actually trying to love a broken adult child whose got these traits..or partners trying to save the wounded..

I liked Gaitok and Mook at first, but he’s gonna regret being with her because she doesn’t love him for him. Very sad.
Gaitok isn’t a victim. He is infatuated with Mook because of her looks. Why doesn’t Gaitlok seek out a woman that shares his alleged core beliefs of Buddhism? It’s Thailand! The country must be full of women like that. Mook wants to be with an ambitious man. If Gaitlok had a different profession not involved with security she wouldn’t encourage him to embrace violence if necessary. She just wants a successful mate. Gaitlok took a job that requires being violent if necessary in order to advance.
Men seeking beautiful mates and women successful ones was a theme prevalent throughout this season. No victims.
Rick became the one person he hated most-his father’s killer. Pretty full circle ⭕️ 🪷

For the rest of his life, Lochy is going to think that bad coconut milk almost killed him. Because Tim will never tell him what really happened. 🤦🏾♀️
Maybe. That was just a one time stomach ache essentially though. It really doesnt compare to a lifetime of being a pleaser in a narcissistic family system which is still actively killing him. He will spend far more time thinking about that than the coconut milk I’m sure
The vulnerable narcissist is the most dangerous type of narcissist because they give you hope. Hope that they are maybe seeing the light and that’s how they suck you in. I learned the hard way that the vulnerable narcissist can never love you more than they hate their “monkey on their back”. I know how Chelsea felt – she was going to save Rick but it’s an arrogance within us that makes us believe that our goodness can rub off on evil. It’s never a happy ending.

Chelsea is a lesson. When a man is showing you that he is toxic do not try to heal him. You should leave him alone.!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I felt bad about Chelsea being killed. She was the character I liked the best.😢 I knew that old guy was going to turn out to be Rick’s Bio Dad. 🕵️
Great reminder of the life experience of individuals closest to the Vortex of a Narcissist…..the NON narcissistic individuals get innocently sucked in to the Vortex, experiencing deep, even life threatening physical and mental Chaos……chaos that they did not create.
This season saved everything for the finale and it was goddamn spectacular!

The Chelsea’s storyline broke my heart. So happy I don’t feel like saving anyone anymore, sad that rarely people get out of such relationships safe and sound 💔
when lachlan said “I’m in a family of narcissits, i’m a pleaser” i immediately thought of this channel.
Poor Chelsea’s death was the metaphor for the person who stays with a narcissist and gets (sometimes literally) dragged down 😔
I did think Rick’s face in death, seemed happier than in his life.
Lest We NOT Forget that Tim found PEACE when on the boat ,
It Shows specifically in the scene he sees the Water 💧 and it zooms on the drops of water splashing in and out from the waves ,
Watch the scene where he’s on the boat ,
It’s referring to the Buddhist teacher Tim spoke with , the Buddhist Teacher referred to how we are Drops of water returning to the Universe as One , he use the Ocean as the analogy.
He found peace with what they were going to face.
He realized FAMILY Is Actually Everything because he HELD his youngest son that he truly believed was going to die in that moment in his arms .
