    Love your energy Dr ramani

  • @annchristine47 says:

The author of the Ridley books is American Patricia Highsmith who was a rather weird outstanding writer. Her books are psychologically brilliant .Truly fascinating!

    • @LindaC616 says:

You beat me to it 🙂

    • @Neresdipity says:

      Was thinking this too!

    • @dolores2716 says:

I just looked her up because of your comment and I see she also wrote Strangers On a Train. That was such a good, creepy movie.

    • @hiraijo1582 says:

Dr. Ramani. I love your videos and the info you have shared. You are saving me from making additional relationship mistakes!! God bless you!!!

  • @DetOxiKATEd says:

I owe a lot to Dr. Ramani. Without her guidance I would be way more confused in life. Thank you❀

  • @teresagonzales579 says:

This woman deserves a Nobel peace prize for the awareness and hard work she’s done to spread narcissistic abuse.

  • @mollymal9690 says:

You honestly saved my life. I adore your channel. Thank you Doctor Ramani

  • @rubberbiscuit99 says:

At first I thought Tom Ripley was Dark Tetrad, but as time went on, he showed himself to be a psychopath. A social predator who coldly calculates and plans, with focus, and follows through, taking over another person’s identity. Their calm in all situations is eerie.

  • @NoliesonLysatya says:

I haven’t watched the series, but listening to Dr Ramani’s description
I’m reminded of my Ex. He literally charmed me into marrying him, studied me like a book and over the years, won the heart of my family and friends by mimicking me!! I felt obliterated and replaced. No one knew the real face of this sadistic, psychotic person, whose silence terrified me more than his outbursts!!

    • @dolores2716 says:

How insidious. You must have felt very much alone and frustrated. Glad you got out.

    • @NoliesonLysatya says:

@@dolores2716 Yes, it was horrific indeed to witness an evil entity hijacking my identity. Glad I’m out too!â€ïžđŸ˜Š

    • @Cass_772 says:

@@NoliesonLysatya After someone like that, you feel like there was a swap between you too, you become him and he become you, it’s scary

    • @NoliesonLysatya says:

@@Cass_772 That’s what he wanted! Through smear campaigning, he portrayed me as the Narcissist. For the longest time, I lived in confusion and self-doubt.

    • @daynapeterson9033 says:

What was his end goal? That’s a lot of work.

  • @gregwindell7702 says:

BE STRONG ENOUGH TO BE HONEST AND KIND

  • @opticalexcellence-wendytob862 says:

The part where the victim is murdered on his boat and Ridley , from there, assumes his identity going forward, is so reminiscent of a true crime years ago where a Canadian man and his (kidnapped) daughter befriend a man, murdered him on his boat. The man assumed the victim’s identity and forced his daughter to act as his “wife” when they moved into a flat in England. They lived like this for about five years before the daughter was finally able to alert a neighbour to the situation, the police were alerted, she was rescued and her father charged and sent to prison.

  • @katherineford3214 says:

It was absolutely amazing! Closeups on the ashtray, the blood in the tub with the investigator right there. How he easily manipulated “friendship” with this very rich man via the father who couldn’t do it himself. To the end he fooled the fiancĂ© who he came close to killing- making her believe his ruse. Award winning show in every way!

  • @lorimiller7261 says:

I love your movies analysis, please keep these coming ❀ My ex husband mirrored at a funeral. He watched people consoling putting arms around each other and he then put an arm around me. It was weird because he’s never done that in 20 years. I have freedom because of Dr Ramani if you are learning to heal this is the place for you.

  • @seanmurray9757 says:

Much love from Ireland. The actor who played Ripley was actually Irish, he’s one of our best.

    • @kendallstark4302 says:

Andrew Scott was absolutely perfect for this role! I almost didn’t watch the series because of some reviews saying he was too “old” for it, given the story is about 20-somethings originally. Man, am I glad I did though. It was brilliant all throughout: the acting, the script, the directing. It deserves to win multiple awards.

    • @ThanksHermione says:

I’m not surprised that he pulled it off since he played the villain Moriarty on Sherlock.

    • @m.maclellan7147 says:

Andrew Scott is RIVETING!!! I’ld watch him in anything.

  • @missMagbeth says:

Dr.Ramani is working around the clock to save our sanity. I’m infinitely grateful

  • @whiteorchard says:

The juxtaposition of the stunning cinematography and the absolutely chilling story made this one of my favorite series of the year. Andrew Scott’s portrayal of Tom Ripley was grippingly perfect. I had wondered what Dr. Ramani would make of him, so thank you for making this video!

  • @caleblarsen5490 says:

Andrew Scott is an amazing actor at playing those psychopathic characters. His work on Sherlock as Moriarty is masterful.

  • @Joanili80 says:

I also find Dickie interessting as a narcissist and one line of his girlfried stuck with me something like” The problem with Dickie is: in the beginning it is as if the sun would constantly shine on you and everything is wonderful. And then….then he forgets all about you and it gets cold, very cold.”

  • @lauragrolla5916 says:

Ripley was disturbing in how ordinary and self-effacing he was. What really bothered me was how calm he remained and I actually envied that. I can’t stay calm through a sad commercial! And wasn’t it so visually stunning? Loved this one, Dr. Ramani. You are so relatable.

  • @HannahRitacco says:

Larry Burkett’s book on “Giving and Tithing” drew me closer to God and helped my spirituality. 2021 was a year I literally lived it. I cashed in my life savings and gave it all away. My total giving amounted to 30,000 dollars. Everyone thought I was delusional. Today, 1 receive 75,000 dollars every two months. I have a property in Calabasas, CA, and travel a lot. God has promoted me more than once and opened doors for me to live beyond my dreams.
God kept to his promises to and for me

    • @ClementQuesney says:

There’s wonder working power in following
Kingdom principles on giving and tithing.
      Hallelujah!

    • @JonathanOlson-u2z says:

But then, how do you get all that in that period of time? What is it you do please, mind sharing?

    • @HannahRitacco says:

It is the digital market. That’s been the secret to this wealth transfer. A lot of folks in the US and abroad are getting so much from it, God has been good to my household Thank you Jesus

    • @HannahRitacco says:

And thanks to my co-worker (Michael) who suggested Ms Susan Jane Christy

    • @JohnLesniewski says:

How can I start this digital market, any guidelines and how can I reach out to her?

  • @user-zm3im7sl9c says:

When Dr Ramani speaks about movies, that’s the only time it’s clear that she’s speaking extemporaneously with no teleprompter. Somehow she consistently delivers these half-hour lessons that are so well organized and articulate they sound like essays. No filled pauses, no losing her train of thought or searching for the right words. You can just tell she knows her subject matter inside out and possesses such a fierce intellect. I wish I could speak like that haha
