Great advice l try to focus on my career first then a girlfriend second
So… specialists are doomed? I only have to “climb the ladder” in order to be… well everything? Vast majority of people (both men and women) will never become CEO-s or smth like that, instead they learn one thing really well (and yes, it also includes keeping up with new technologies in your field) and make money practicing that skill. But yeah, that does not appear to others as “ambitious”…
It’s only “ambitious” if you can provide the lifestyle your preferred woman wants. Your endeavors do not take priority over her lifestyle “ambitions”.
Career and Financial Growth is important. It’s going to affect you when you hit your 60’s. So start now.
One tip I’ve always said to my fellow single guy friends is:
Build friendships with other women! I think it’s seriously underrated in dating. I’ve always had at least 3 girl friends my whole life and the advice and support women can give on dating other women is huge. The only rule is, if there is any attraction there, it will be difficult to have a genuine friendship. If you just get on though and don’t have that attraction to each other it can work nicely for both of you.

The hobbies are the clutch factor for me, especially with friends. If you find something you enjoy doing other than work and gym with a group, you will be the best version of yourself and develop the social skills needed to approach anything or anyone head on.

I’m doing all of these but still single sadly(never been in a relationship before 27y) but I recently met a girl who I approached and now she’s my first female best friend. We were able to openly talk about the situation and everything. She also said that she doesn’t know anyone who she’s able to talk so openly (she has bpd). I was crushed first and had the fear that I wasn’t being able to just stay friends but I’m surprised that I emotionally detached well and not expecting anything to be happening. I always craved for a platonic female friendship in my life but since I’m not like most guys who are friends with a woman with the hope of smashing one day I never felt any sort of deep connection with the girls I met in my life except her. Even tho I know a lot of guys I also struggle to find a deep friendship.
I don’t know what else I could be doing it feels like I’m always running against a wall. Every time I get into a girl it turns bad for me. It feels like the universe tells me to stay single for ever.
