This was actually not a real survey and was done by an internet troll. A real survey would not be done in increments of exactly “5”. This was a meme to target “Bird watchers”.

  • @michaelbasgall8924 says:

So women don’t like it when guys have a creative outlet?

If she doesn’t like my model airplanes, she can leave. Ain’t no woman is separating me from my airplanes.I’d rather be single then have someone change my interests, candidly.

    • @hanschristianben505 says:

      amen to that bro ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿผ

      -> fellow model airplane/spacecraft modeler here ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿผ

    • @brucefullwood says:

Well said, Michael. My younger brother is HUGE into model airplanes. Building them is both skill and art and if a woman is somehow turned off by that . . . there’s the door.

It’s not my thing, but I see what he can do with them and I am IMPRESSED.

    • @Don_Matteo says:

Don’t worry son. My father was really big into model airplanes, but mom stayed by his side until his passing away for 50 years. Well, he was also into motorcycles and knew how to fix almost anything.

    • @VideoCesar07 says:

Unfortunately many people, not just women, see model kits as toys, not something you get enjoyment from building, painting and detailing. I have accepted that it is a turn-off for many women but rather be single and keep doing my hobbies than be with someone who thinks they are going to dictate what I can and can’t do.

    • @1D4ever says:

No they don’t and no man should care

  • @KnightsGloryy says:

If you care what a woman finds attractive, it’s game over. Who cares what someone finds attractive. Don’t change who are you to appease another person.

  • @OneFreeMan17 says:

Our hobbies are our own, we do them for ourselves, not to impress women.

  • @PRdude says:

I saw another video about how a woman is turned off by guys who play video games. There are things that women do that men find unattractive too, and judging men on BS criteria is one of them.

  • @cjames1590 says:

This can’t be a real survey ๐Ÿ˜‚ That is like me telling my girl spending $500 on a purse is unattractive. You do you.

    • @kensword73 says:

Yeah itโ€™s not some guy just made it up as a troll lol

    • @rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr1 says:

It’s a red flag. And red flags are unattractive.

    • @hihtitmamnan says:

@@rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr1 it’s not unattractive if she can afford it easily and knows what she’s doing (e.g. the purse will be more expensive in few years).

    • @Aries73 says:

@@rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr1Red flag my a$$! I have no more use for neckbeards than anyone else, but gaming is no less legitimate than any other hobby.

  • @jakbandit1708 says:

If she doesn’t like birds she isn’t the one.

  • @user-ty6vg5sk5u says:

Men should not listen any woman telling him what kind of hobby is not attractive if that man loves to do it. then this woman is not just the right kind of for him. Always follow your passion, never the trends.

  • @RyanPatrickFlanagan says:

I don’t play video games at all. However if women are not thrilled about men playing video games they should not be surprised when men are not thrilled with women who are constantly on their phones and social media. It’s the same thing!

    • @arjenbij says:

It’s worse. Video games are art-media just like film and music. Social media isn’t even that.

    • @cur244 says:

Took the words right out of my mouth. Constantly on social media or watching movies is unbelievably unattractive. It’s right there with smoking.

    • @DeutscheStrande-gl5xi says:

    • @thatHARVguy says:

@@arjenbij ’90s Tomb Raider is platforming and puzzle-solving. Gamers make strategy guides and tutorials.

    • @user-hf2dr7sh4y says:

my girlfriend is also an engineer and in my opinion much smarter than myself. She enjoys playing video games as much as I do and if she didnt like me playing them, then it simply wouldnt work out. nonetheless, I dont play video games every day and there are weeks, sometimes months that I go without playing any. If you cannot appreciate the mathematics and mechanics behind video games, then I dont know if I could appreciate your intelligence as my significant other. Never mind the fact the game graphics industry has created and carried many other depending economic sectors of the economy, which many a banker or politician has benefitted substantially out of servicing. so if you have any interests in these other things and do not know how they may touch your sector of interest, then it tells me you’re far more ignorant than I would ever even want to bear in my day to day.

  • @DJMilez says:

Yeah thatโ€™s how you know this list is cap when TROLLING and GAMBLING is lower on the list than playing video games lmao

    • @CourtneyRyan says:

      ๐Ÿ˜‚

    • @Littletime839 says:

      That’s because fewer people gamble

    • @tycobandit says:

And a lot of the times video games and trolling go hand in hand. And gambling is a graduated form of playing video games, the stakes are higher and your endorphin levels are more intense. Either way, all three donโ€™t do much to make you a more interesting person.

  • @UnknownMann. says:

Any “hobby” can be perceived as unattractive if abused and not used responsibly. Video games get such a bad reputation for everything nowadays, but what most people don’t realize is that the video game industry is a bigger market than the film industry, and video games have such great storytelling that will leave you crying during sad moments because video games can be so immersive.

    • @UnknownMann. says:

Also, so many people make such a great living playing video games… and in some cases, are more successful than your typical person with a degree.

    • @rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr1 says:

      @UnknownMann

      “so many” LOL

About as common as lotto winners or pro athletes.

    • @UnknownMann. says:

      @@rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr1 yeah that’s right

    • @TheDneaves says:

The best story driven games are better story tellers than film and TV.

    • @tuntitommosille says:

The difference is that with movies and TV shows you can sit together on the couch and enjoy them, whereas with video games the experience that most women probably have is that their boyfriend sits hours on end playing online shooters with his buddies while ignoring her completely. Try playing a co-op game together instead and you might get a different reaction.

  • @helioflanaganveiga says:

I dated this lady who used to question my passion and discipline for Jiu-Jitsu and used to say that practicing it 5 times a week was unnecessary and pointless. So I made a proposition: โ€œcome to a class with me and if you make me tap, I will quit Jiu-Jitsu.โ€ She agreed. Possibly because she believed she could really make me tap. But the most important thing about my experience was the fact that after that class she loved it so much that she joined the Jiu-Jitsu gym and fell in love with the sport. We are no longer together and she was never able to make me tap, but the moral of the story is: sometimes making the girl you love part of the things you love is the fastest way to obliterate unnecessary criticism. My unsolicited advice: be yourself, do the things you love and try to introduce them to the ones you love. They might end up loving it as much as you do.

    • @hihtitmamnan says:

Sorry, I don’t know wtf tap is, but whatever she wanted to do, women are weaker in general. No ex was ever even remotely stronger or faster than me.

    • @helioflanaganveiga says:

@@hihtitmamnan you are correct to say that women are weaker in general. But I have no doubt that there are great Jiu-Jitsu female practitioners out there who could probably subdue us and make us tap out. Btw, โ€œtapโ€ means tapping out when you suffer a submission in a Jiu-Jitsu match. You either tap out, which immediately obliges the opponent to stop immediately, or you get choked out or have a limb injury or even end up with broken bones. Itโ€™s the smooth art of subduing the opponent. Very effective. You should try watching UFC sometime!

    • @hihtitmamnan says:

@@helioflanaganveiga I wouldn’t ever do that to my woman nor would I encourage her to do stuff like this. For self defense, it’s alright I guess, but the best defense is to… avoid conflict.

My friend broke up with a girl because she told him to quit riding BMX.

    • @jewulo says:

      Smart guy.

    • @hihtitmamnan says:

Depends what he was doing with this BMX. If this was his career and the way he makes a living, she’s a dumb b1tch. But if he’s doing dangerous stuff just for fun, this is very immature and you may lose your life or health for pretty stupid reasons.

  • @wpierce34004ever says:

My gf has no issues with video games; she plays them as much as I do! And her dad plays more than both of us combined. It’s exactly as Courtney said – there’s someone out there who will like you for who you are, including hobbies.

    • @eyeinsee says:

My wife loves that i stay home and play video games, it beats going out and letting her imagination run wild.

  • @ChemiiOneLegacy says:

Women sit and watch shitty tv show after shitty tv show but think video games are a waste of time. I’d rather eat glass than watch Love Island.

  • @makavelijr24 says:

The same women who say video games are unattractive are the same ones who say their hobbies are shopping and going out to eat.

    • @TheDneaves says:

And putting thousands of selfies on social media

    • @hihtitmamnan says:

Although this sound highly biased, I have to agree that this is most of the cases. But not every case tho. For exmple outgoing women who love sports or hiking often hate on gaming on my Tinder.

    • @gec-o2167 says:

    • @RS-xo7rd says:

They are also the same ones who ridicule model making, particularly model raiways. In the UK, the latter has been used for years in the media as a shorthand for nerd/ pervert/ any kind of oddball/ any kind of inadequate, and moreover it is a hobby to which most men will not admit to anyone for fear of being laughed at and judged. Whist ones hobby is ones own business, if you want to meet women you are a downer before you even start.

I’m an avid small scale railway modeler. It’s a hobby that covers:
    1 engineering/design/architecture
    2 carpentry
    3 electrical work
    4 electronics
    5 programming
    6 art and architecture
    7 scenery design
8 fine scale modeling and details
    9 historical contexts/accuracy
    10 general artistic proficiency
I’ve become more confidant and skilled in all of these abilities.

On the side I take improv/acting/stand up classes as well. These classes exercise a different part of my mind.

Women see the railway modelling as nerdy and eeeeuuuwwww, while the improv classes as somehting interesting and fun-but they have no desire to come out to performances.

    Volunteering: caring, and compassionate.
