Good morning 😃☀️ You’re looking so happy, and relaxed, Dr. Ramani. You’re looking good🌻 It’s hard to escape narcissistic people most of the time. How can we stay young and happy living in a world full of them😅?

one of my favorite things to do now is practice trying to pick out narcissism in characters in my shows. TV has always been an escape from the real world when i feel i can’t be in it anymore. I used to feel really guilty that it’s the only place I feel mentally and physically safe but now I feel like I am learning to navigate “the characters” people play in real life to better protect myself and it’s not such a waste of time. Thanks Dr. Ramani

Oh man, I love that you’re going to watch with us, I couldn’t wait for episode one on Sunday. This just makes it twice as fun!

  • @kkryz says:

I thought about one of the women that was traveling on the girl trip years ago. There was beauty all around and at the beginning of the vacation she was complaining about everything and said she didn’t want to be there. Then I remember at the buffet, I’d sit down for a moment before going up to get my food and she sounded bothered about that and she’d tell me to go get my food lol. So then one time I went to go get my food as soon as I got to the buffet without sitting down first. As I walked over, she yells over, “Kim, aren’t you going to sit with us!?” I was just getting the food first that time.
While listening to this video, it also came to mind how dad stormed away from us at Disney World at the theme park when my sister and I were young. Mom ended up panicked… not sure what to do. He had everything on him. We waited in that spot for what felt like a long time until he came back. Sounded like he may have gone to a bar. Mom was worried he wasn’t coming back. Trying to remember how young we were. Really young. I think I remember crying. So that leaving thing would be the vulnerable narcissism or malignant coming out….

    • @kkryz says:

I wasn’t really thinking about Kerry being narcissistic. I did notice those things and it was before I had the name for it. She lives further away and she had mentioned before when I was over there that she wants to come and visit at my place sometime. I really just remembered these situations today.

Dr. Ramani I was stuck in the same cycle- attracting narcissistic people, feeling frustrated, and not knowing why. Red Vibration by Keezano gave me the wake up call I needed. It helped me understand attraction in a way I never had before. I made a few key changes, and suddenly, I started attracting the right kind of people. That’s how I met my husband, this book seriously changed my life🙏🏼

You are 3 weeks new to YouTube.
Sit back and settle in before you sell your wares/ ways on channels where survivors diligently protect their own. Claire tell Kazoo to start his own YouTube channel.

Here’s what keeps happening it’s not just you Claire it’s somebody who just joins YouTube who comes on to talk about klepto and the book and how it changed their life and God and all this stuff and then you get like two or three comments that say yay I want that book and then you get about 40 45 thumbs up to put it at the top .
If this isn’t a scam somebody slap me in the face

Dr. Ramani, Another good series to watch is “The Handmaid’s Tale”. Serena Joy Waterford along with the Commander display the traits of narcissism. Every episode is a WTF moment for me. LOL

  • @marymonthei250 says:

I loved all your takes but the one I’m really interested in hearing was the third friend from the blonde group? I can’t quite place why but she was giving me some manic flashbacks of my past friendship with a narc and she was oddly the one I had the biggest red flag with. Loved the video!

That security guard is not a “nice guy”. At least not in a postive way. Hes the nice guy who turns when he doesnt get what he wants.

  • @willowkat4 says:

Patrick Schwartzenegger lol. No surprise he’s great at playing the classic narcissist. No fooling, he’s great. And yes I had a narcissistic sibling and co-workers and I thought for half my life that sparing with them was normal and affectionate, but it left me feeling awful and set me up for my hypersexed husband. I’m fascinated by thinking of Parker Posey’s character as “histrionic” because I know and have met SO many women like her. I’ve thought of it as their defense mechanisms gone rogue.

  • @KathieMihindukulasuriya says:

I saw someone leave someone in a restaurant once. He had brought an elderly relative to a family meal and then got annoyed with her. He announced, “You can find another ride home.” Everyone thought he was kidding, but he actually left her there. Of course someone else gave her a ride, but I think he still would have left her there alone if she and he were the last 2 there.

Side thing, this season I realized yet another reason why the writer is a FREAKIN GENIUS . . . besides the fact that his writing is so deep with character analysis, plot twists & power dynamics . . . the dude, knows when you shoot this you’ll be on set for like 6-8 months, so ingenuously the settings are all at gorgeous locations in 5-star hotels . . . hats off, sir, well played ; )
