Agree! My ex told me that he and his former exes WERE swingers because it was easier to be a swinger then have a open relationship. After all his love bombing, swearing he wasnt a swinger anymore, moving me in, and all his commitments to me were signed, he began to ignore and just not get anywhere near me. He said over and over that we wouldn’t make it if I stayed jealous of him being with his “friend” and that just because they had an open relationship in the past, didn’t mean they were intimate. He kept denying he was swinging, yet he’d stay on his phone for hours in another room with door closed. I’ve learned so much since he left me! I see now this Avoidant “Love Bombing” Narcissist Behavior is a pattern of his. This is the second car, house, set of kids he has walked away from for a sweet thing. What is the difference between swinging and open relationship? What’s the difference between him choosing to walk, and him dumping all his responsibilities? The Avoidant Narcissist splits hairs when talking and does this to confuse their victims. Avoiding the truth is the goal.
