Yes I think this is an issue that needs to be examined.
I agree but as long as men don’t participate in bettering themselves the same BS continues. Women shouldn’t be mental health providers in relationships. It’s not their “job.”
I feel that it’s kind of expected in a way. If you don’t you’re considered ‘too independent’. It would be nice Jonathon, to hear how to take the middle ground. I had to independent as a solo mom and I want to grow into sharing responsibilities with a partner without giving my power away. I don’t want to be ‘rescued’ and I definitely don’t want the role of rescuing ‘nurse’ or surrogate mother either 🙏🏼🌺😅
