Back in the or beyond the 1960’s marriage era, married couples comprised bcz women had less opportunities to live a single life. So the woman were forced to submit or end up beaten or on the streets homeless or both. Nowadays women are more independent are more assertive, which gives women the opportunity the fight or flight and move on with their single life.
I would say the majority of the problem is men. Bcz men in this era learned from their dad’s behavior toward their wife, so these men had either abusive father’s watching their mother being physically, emotionally, verbally abused. And many of these women did not divorce their husband. So the boys are grown up now, they believe to “treat their wives abusively bcz it worked with my dad. My mother is still married to her husband.”
That’s not like to happen in this day and age. These 2000 era men should have some type of school counseling before they graduate high school. The high women too.

So Right On…new listener….age 61 however NOT delusional…no relationship in over 6 years lots of time to enjoy me, loss of aged Bulldog, menopause yuck etc. Very youthful can pass for 51 easy!!! YES most my age group have let themselves go which is a turn off!
I don’t think women over 36 are looking for or interested in, or tolerating situationships. I think these women believe they are in a relationship– but the guy is keeping his options open. I certainly have no interest in a situationship. I’m looking for a life partner.
