I’m 52 and haven’t even started.
Very true, it can be invaluable to stop and put things into perspective. In my case it was stopping that made me realize it shouldn’t be stressful. I was dating the wrong women. When I go back into things I’ll have a far better idea of what I’m looking for and how to go about things.

I needed to hear this.
Noticed a few of these things (namely, dating feeling like a chore), so I stopped dating nearly 2 years ago.
I don’t have time or energy to date or marry since I have a full-time engineering job and work on a PhD in AI. That consumes all my time. Rates of divorce, infidelity, or unhappy marriages are very high. The ends don’t seem to justify the means in most cases. There are exceptions but far and few in between.
A lot of men and women need to hear this and follow this. I see way too many men and women run from one relationship to the next.
