Thank you, Matt. What works for me is keeping in mind that if he’s not consistent now, he won’t later, so it’d be exhausting to push him from the very beginning.
One thing I’ve learned is that clarity is underrated. If you’re constantly trying to decode mixed signals, you’re usually focusing on the wrong question. Healthy relationships don’t eliminate uncertainty, but they shouldn’t require constant guessing either.
