It’s just not good practice to teach your child that it’s ok to run around asking strangers for food…or for anything else. And it’s got nothing to do with me feeling that it would be embarrassing for the parent. It’s just plain tacky…and, could possibly even be dangerous.

You are so spot on with this one Matt. 4 is my absolute favorite age, and I have raised 4 children- so I really do know! 4 year olds are sooo themselves. They speak they’re minds based on how they feel about something , or what they see! As a matter of fact , I was terrified to take my youngest boy out in public, because I never knew what he was going to say to people haha. He once asked this lady” hey where did your eyebrows go?” I tried to quiet him but he genuinely wanted to know! Must be where the saying comes from- out of the mouth of babes❣️TY
