A lot of times smart women stay stuck because they’re not stupid, they’re logical. They don’t understand how to deal with a narcissist because the things that a narcissist does don’t make sense at ALL. every time they reach for love, the narcissist pulls away. Every time they want to try to talk things out, the narc goes cold and silent. every time they try to provide proof, the narcissist refuses to believe it, and after a while, what happens is they keep on going back and forth and circles with this person so much that they eventually just let them tell THEM what to believe, what to think, how to move, how to feel, and who they can be around, and they lose themselves. First they interpreted the red flags in a way that protected the narcissist, and then they end up letting the narc interpret REALITY. And that’s where it gets dangerous.
