I’ve been seeing a guy who often shows up to dates in casual clothes, while I make an effort to dress up. I expressed how much effort matters to me and even complimented a blouse he wore to a family dinner, saying I’d love to see him wear it on a date. He listened and wore it next time, which made me soo happy anf I appreciated and complimented a lot. But after that, he went back again to casual clothes. It’s not about his looks, but the inconsistency in effort is starting to affect how I feel about him.
How would you suggest I address this?
