You have helped me so much.

    • @helenalipkova3091 says:

Me too. For the first time in my life, a psychologist was telling ME what I am going through as if she was a fly on the wall. Before, I kept talking to them and hardly anyone believed me. Suddenly, I got all the answers. It helped immensely. I have been grateful to Dr. RAMANI for 5 years now. I went to contact and feel incredibly free and happy. Thank you❀

  • @donnafloyd3564 says:

    Thank you for being you.

  • @sparkygump says:

Now I’m on the outside after the discard, thanks to you, Dr. Ramani, I see these reptiles every single day. It’s like that movie “They Live”.

Happy birthday to Dr Ramani. πŸŽ‰. For a number of reasons I hate enabling exploitive and abusive behaviour just as, much as egocentrism and low empathy, entitlement envy.

  • @AtosaR says:

Happy Birthday Dr. Ramani! πŸŽ‚ Wishing you peace, joy and loving relationships all around you in 2025 and the years to come πŸ₯°

  • @ND-or5so says:

I didn’t know they made these types. Let me say that I was not ready for all those tactics he inflicted on me. I didn’t know what was happening to me with the head games, manipulation, gaslightung, silent treatment, blame shifting, etc. I was so confused. If you as I was in the past had no idea about these narcissistic abusers there is no way to really know for sure what you’re dealing with. I had to do my homework and educate myself about narcissism. These videos are therapy for me.

  • @anonymouscm7270 says:

…estrangement, abuse, silenced, smear campaign, isolation, cornered, threats, coercive control/mentored to fit for need or supply, gaslighting, raged at, even loss of career/financial stability for good for calling it out publiclyπŸ˜”

  • @patrickbinford590 says:

Learning about these narcissistic patterns is like suddenly being able to pass a math class after the fact.

  • @angellollar1083 says:

I feel safe when being around people like you. I sometimes tell myself in mirror that I am safe. I am healthy. I am loved.

  • @patrickbinford590 says:

Seeing narcissism for what it is can seem like it’s negative because then you start negative tripping on that stuff. But actually you can flip what is seemingly true into something positive and have that positivity actually be true and not false: the good news of changing your focus in the narcissistic behavior is that you start to get a little distance from it emotionally because you see it for what it is and you accept it and it doesn’t affect you as much. It’s not a perfect world. We live in a process of existence. And that’s OK. ❀

  • @TheTrmnlyUniq says:

I was just saying to someone the other day, how the hell have I been so blind. We don’t know what we don’t know. Still bugs me though. 20 years of manipulation, lying, hiding truth. Got caught doing something illegal and now she’s in jail. And still acts like she should be treated like a queen.

  • @youngblood8540 says:

It’s sad but you can never really drop your guard, with anyone. As soon as you do, that’s when they get yeah, even the ones you don’t assume.

  • @CenterWomen4B says:

Happy Birthday, Dr. Ramani! These videos are like putting on my ‘safety goggles’ to process what I see in my day-to-day life. Your work has changed so many lives. You’re a wonderful person and a beautiful soul! I hope you have such a wonderful and lovely day. I hope you get to read a good book, go for a walk, have a wonderful meal, do whatever you want, and celebrate your wonderful life. You deserve peace, joy, and happiness. Have fun!

  • @MarisaPaola-um5yb says:

I once read a quote..”if you are bitten by a snake, you don’t stay frozen on the spot..thinking ‘why, did the snake bite me?’..you rush to get help”.. rumination.
Ive always been surrounded by disloyalty, criticism, being last choice, violence etc…since childhood, I had taught myself to tough it out. I didnt realize when too much, was toooo much, until i became very seriously ill with autoimmune/heart failure.

    • @artifundio1 says:

I hear you. I escaped the family cult because of my autoimmune illnesses. 7 years later I haven’t had sinus infections, mouth lip herpes, and no new spots in my skin. This is not a maybe. This is a fact. They were making me very sick. Now my body is in its best shape in decades (I’m 44). Even my PCOS went away…
It’s immensely sad, but true, your family can be very dangerous for your health….

I hope you have a great recovery journey ❀ you are not alone!!

  • @prairieprepper says:

In terms of teaching kids about gaslighting, what I’ve tried in my own family is to ask them what they’re seeing and validating it. Whether that’s in conflicts with friends (“did what she said make you/your other friend feel bad? I agree, that’s something that would make me sad too”) or whathaveyou, and pointing it out if someone does the opposite and invalidates their feelings instead. Also, taking responsibility for my own actions has been a big part of it (“you’re right honey, I shouldn’t have said that”). Of course, we can’t expect that in homes with narcissistic parents, but anyone can do that for another person. Definitely something that could be taught in schools.

  • @urrywest says:

Happy Birthday. I suppose many people’s safe space is that they feel that they can trust the people around them.

  • @bigparade says:

After watching so many of Dr. Ramani’s videos, I’m starting to feel I have more narcissists in my life than I would ever have known or chosen. Not only have I most likely been conditioned to migrate towards them, my belief that I had a higher tolerance and an ability to stand my ground has been reduced to feeling like an enabler. I’m tired, sad and bewildered
