I have difficulty finding emotionally attached men, but I have found in attempting to date in the 5 or 6 years after 2nd divorce at age 53 now, I’m finding that I ALSO am not fully emotionally available. Partially bc I shove myself into a box of ‘Guys don’t want to hear this’. So I end up getting (or keeping) the guys who don’t want a complicated, feeling individual with expectations. I don’t think it’s ALL my fault, but I’m finding, the majority of it probably IS. Lots of work to do, but coming to some hard realizations about myself of late.
