In this day and age, I don’t trust anybody..absolutely do the background check!
I think it’s critical to clear out your own ish first so you’re able to set healthy, ethical standards for a potential partner. Not looking for a fix, a wallet, or himbo. As queasy as the idea of running a background check makes me, it’s actually ok as long as there’s transparency about it. Am *I* ok with someone running a credit check on me and discussing any concerns? Actually, yes I am.
